Karl Saint Lucy (Partner) is a New York-based writer and musician. He wrote the music for Fucking Identical Twins, a one-act musical that ran to sold-out houses at Upright Citizens Brigade for a year and a half. Twins went on to be optioned for feature film adaptation by 20th Century Fox/Chernin Entertainment in 2016.

He workshopped his song cycle, La Hora Perdida: Songs for Renaud, at GLOW Lyric Theatre (Greenville, SC). Class, his musical written with collaborator Maria Alexandria Beech, has enjoyed workshops at Goodspeed Musicals and Hope Summer Repertory Theatre. Furthermore, Class was a finalist for the National Musical Theater Conference at The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in 2017.

Additionally, he auditioned as an alto finalist for the Grammy Award-winning men’s chamber choir, Chanticleer, in 2017. He also contributes to Grindr‘s digital queer magazine, INTO.

He holds a Bachelor of Music from University of Tulsa and an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he is an alumnus of the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program.
